Elan's vision to develop local generation of renewable energy for commercial use is shared across a team comprised of diverse skills and extensive combined expertise. Understanding our client's business needs and providing clear and timely solutions is accomplished by drawing together a variety of skill sets, in the renewable and traditional energy industries, commercial property, asset management and project management. By carefully combining Elan's broad range of specialities, clients with global interests can be confident with our international experience in the UK, Europe and North America.
Managing Director Quinn McGovern founded Elan Global Renewables in 2011 applying 6 years of property development and renewable energy experience in the UK market. With extensive project management skills and familiarity with the highly regulated energy industry, Quinn also has 15 years of experience in finance and asset management. Gaining 10 years experience with TD Bank provides an in-depth knowledge of specialised financial products and corporate finance to Elan’s suite of services. Advising lead client Riocan (Canada’s largest retail Real estate Investment Trust (REIT)) brought together the worlds of finance and property. As an equity specialist advising large private and institutional investors, Quinn combines both 'Project' and 'Finance' expertise for Elan’s suite of services
Elan is founded on the concept that the world should be a better place when we hand it across to our children. Even with young son Jesse still in short trousers, there is much work to do to ensure we live up to our responsibilities.
